YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW...
Fiona is actually a singer by trade, and she left Grange
Hill to star in the West End musical Miss Saigon. She
says singing is her life and hopes to record an album.
POINT OF INTEREST:
Fiona says she is nothing like Joanna in real life. Unlike
her alcoholic screen persona she doesn't even drink! However,
we did hear her sing in Series 21 Ep 4, during the Karaoke
night.
WHERE IS SHE NOW?
After touring with the musical Miss Saigon in Malmo,
Sweden, Fiona returned to deepest Huddersfield for a
role in ITV's long-running drama Where The Heart Is.
Sadly, the show has just been axed by ITV...
