TOM ON BAZ: "Baz
is a bit of a mysterious character," Tom says. "He's
had a shocking home life and more than often has had to play
dad to his younger sister, Annie, as well as trying to fend
for himself. He's fiercely protective of his family background."
"I particularly enjoyed the scenes where Baz's dad was
sectioned and taken away by ambulance. It's very powerful
stuff and typically Grange Hill." Tom trained at Manchester's
Laine-Johnson Theatre school which has produced other famous
names such as Tina O'Brien and Lisa Riley.
FAMILY: Tom lives in Worsely,
near Manchester with his mum Margaret and younger brother Anton,
a promising gymnast who trains with the Central Manchester Institute
of Gymnastics. Mum comes from Swinford, Ireland, and Tom visits
the Emerald Isle when he can!
AMBITIONS: Tom hopes
Grange Hill will be his big break. I have always wanted
to be in Coronation Street because I always watched it with
my mum when I young, Tom said. That would be really
good.
