AMY ON JESSICA... "I
used to think I wasn't much like her," Amy says. "She
was spirited and smart which I liked, but I hope I'm a bit
more laid back! Grange Hill is very close to my heart; it
was my first professional engagement and I have many happy
memories of my time there."
POINT OF INTEREST: Amy changed
her surname in September 1997, because of Equity rules which
state no two actors can use the same name. Several Grange Hill
stars have done this over the years; others include Mark Eadie
(formerly Mark Chapman) and Fiona Lee-Fraser (Fiona Mogridge).
