Nick was born on Earth - a place called Suffolk way back
in 1968.
TV: As a child
actor Nick is best remembered as Matthew Cartwright
in GRANGE HILL (BBC 1981-1982). He's also worked in
the USA where he played the English son of Dallas queen
Linda Gray in a TV movie
FILMS: Nick did a
few of these as well! Big screen parts included Richard
Attenborough's GANDHI (1982), THE ELEPHANT MAN (1980)
and OCTOPUSSY.
SO WHERE IS HE NOW?
To put it in Nick's words, Matthew Cartwright lives!
But Nick has moved from acting to radio presenting and
has worked mainly in breakfast radio with the BBC. Until
recently he was with Liberty Radio in London, editing
the breakfast show which he co-presented with Sadie
Nine.
 Nick recently
parted company with BBC Radio Suffolk. He is still acting
and can be heard on on the radio most morning's at Capital
FM's sister station SGR FM . Over the last four years
he has been named BBC radio presenter of the year 2005
& 2006 as well as being nominated for a Sony radio academy
award . He still is in contact from his time on the
on Grange Hill.
