"Kathy really cares about other people," explains
Sammy, "but I don't think she can have a laugh.
She's far too serious for my liking - sometimes she
needs to relax and chill out more!"

ON FAME: "You get
recognised in shopping centres. When my friend Holly (Quin-Ankrah)
came down, who plays Karen, we went to Planet Hollywood and
got recognised."
ON MATT BUCKLEY: "We
get on really well and find it hard not to laugh at each other",
Sammy recently told a BBCi web chat. "And he winds me up!
Matt was quite depressed while we were filming cos he didn't
get any fan mail so I wrote him a piece and pretended it was
from a fan."
FAMILY: Most of the London
cast have to stay in hotels to film Grange Hill - not so our
Sammy! Her auntie lives in Liverpool and she stays with her
during production.
HOBBIES: Sammy plays rounders
but says she's rubbish at it! She'd much rather go shopping,
read autobiographies or spend quality time with her friends.
Her favourite film is Bridget Jones' Diary (because Hugh Grant
is in it!), but her all-time fave is Cinderella.
MUSIC: Sammy's favourite
is Elton John's classic Your Song. Elton is a legend, she
says.
AND THE FUTURE: Sammy's
never been in any doubt - she's always wanted to be a star and
has now left school to concentrate on acting. "I would
absolutely love to be in Eastenders. I think I'd like to play
a character like Janine. I'd love to be stubborn and horrible,
to be different," she says. Well Sammy, you're certainly
famous now! |
