INSIDE INFO Kacey
beat 400 other hopefuls to win the role of Maddie. She
screamed and jumped for joy when the phone call came telling
her she'd got the part!
KACEY ON MADDIE...
"I love playing her, she's quite a selfish person,"
Kacey explains. "She set Taylor up last year in a
bid to prove he was a two-timer. It backfired on her though,
even though she was doing the right thing at the time.
I love playing her though - Maddie's very dimensional.
Sometimes she's nice, sometimes nasty."
FAMILY: Kacey is the
oldest of three children; brother Kye and sister Tyla.
They live with mum Karen and dad Malcolm in north London. |

HOBBIES: Spending time with
friends, shopping and acting. Kacey's a Tottenham Hotspur fan
- "till I die!" - and her favourite player is Kasey
Keller because he shares her name! Right now Kacey is addicted
to Pop Idol and is a Friends and EastEnders fan. Favourite sport
is Netball - she used to play all the time for her school team.
David Mercer is Kacey's favourite author - she enjoys reading
his plays and her favourite is "The Acarta Promise".
She'd love to act in one!
LIKES: Chinese food (especially
duck and crispy pancakes!), Strawberry milkshakes, Eminem, Miss
Dynamite, and cats. She's got four persians called Bailey, Tay,
Teddy and Dudley (see the Grange Hill connection?!) Oh, and
a dog called Archie!
Kacey has too many favourite films to name but anything with
Johnny Depp gets her vote! The Shawshank Redemption and Braveheart
made her cry a lot! At the moment her favourite is The Green
Mile. Her all-time musical favourite is Michael Jackson.
AMBITION: Kacey's always
dreamt of being an actress, director or producer.
