School Days: 1986-1989
Ziggy was the happy-go-lucky chancer in E2. With a nickname
inspired by David Bowie's repertoire (and a fondness for
spiders), he came to Grange Hill from Liverpool when his
family moved to take up work in the area. Soon he became
a popular member of the class. Ziggy had a laid-back attitude
to school; along with sidekick Robbie he'd be involved
in all sorts of scrapes from donkey-smuggling to keeping
Imelda Davis at bay. His heart was always in the right
place; he'd stick up for his mates and was game for anything.
Unfortunately this would often mean getting roped in to
whatever moneymaking scheme Gonch had going. A passionate
Liverpool supporter, Ziggy was a regular on Grange Hill's
soccer teams and got involved with Radio Grange Hill.
Romance was not Ziggy's strong point; he almost missed
his chance with his dream girl, Georgina Hayes. Ziggy
left Grange Hill after completing his GCSEs and would
be missed by classmates and teachers.

ZIGGY'S
SCHOOL REPORT

Liverpool and the others make fun of his accent. On his
first day Ziggy pushes Imelda in the pond; she takes revenge
by stuffing fibreglass down his back. Ziggy teams up with
Robbie and spends all year exacting revenge on Imelda.

the funds and is part of the Radio Grange Hill sit-in.

scam, Ziggy has to cope with Karen's unwelcome advances.

his protests, Ziggy buckles and joins Gonch's computer
dating scam. He's desperate to hook Georgina and she wants
