School and Suzanne were like chalk and cheese - they just
didn't mix. After keeping her nose clean in the first
year Suzanne caused headaches for her teachers, especially
Mr Hopwood. It's like she felt school was above her; she
resented being treated like a child but forever acted
like one with her outbursts and non-compliance. She refused
to wear school uniform and was determined to make life
difficult - all the detentions in the world had no effect.
A shame really; Suzanne was a highly intelligent, streetwise
girl who could look after herself. This came in handy
at the UN weekend.
FAMILY: Suzanne lived
with her despairing mother; she couldn't handle Suzanne either
and begged the school to help. Dad walked out on them when
she was two; Suzanne has never really experienced a father
figure.

SCHOOL REPORT
Series
4: Suzanne is introduced with the new intake
in H1.
Series 5: Suzanne
starts bunking off to work in a clothes shop. Mr Hopwood
catches her and takes her to task. Suzanne finds growing
up hard and can't face "that flippin' curse"
for the next forty years.
Series 6: Suzanne
chose media studies but is down for geography. She accuses
Mr Hopwood of fobbing her off in her attempts to get moved.
Suzanne organises an underground school newspaper, refuses
to wear uniform and Mum's at her wits' end.
Series 7: Suzanne
goes on the UN weekend with Pogo, Glenroy, Stewpot and
Claire. She leaves school as soon as she turns 16; life
is not what she expected but she puts on a brave face.
Scruffy offers to enquire about college for her. Suzanne
puts Mrs McClusky in her place when tackled about her
dress!
