As Lisa's little sister, Shona was very much living her
sibling's shadow. But she was very much unlike Lisa; very
girly, immature for her age and craved acceptance. Desperate
to fit in, Shona would go along with anything even if
this meant bullying others. Maddie was supposedly her
best friend; although Maddie was not doubt taking advantage
of Shona's timid nature. But once Shona and Maddie got
drunk her father decided she was better off with mum and
she left Grange Hill.

Year
7: Shona is upset by her parents' marriage
break up. Shona and Maddie wind up Martin and listen in
to his parents' meeting with Miss Carver. Shona comes
down with German measles and milks her condition.
Year 8: Mrs West tries
to bribe Shona into living with her new family. Shona
takes Lisa's mobile to school, resulting in the mugging
which hospitalises Lisa. Maddie and Shona bunk school
and get drunk; Mr West decides she's better off living
with Mum.
