MR ROBSON'S SCHOOL REPORT
Series 11 Mr Robson joins Grange Hill as the new
Head of Sport and is also E4's form tutor. He brings with him
a new non-competitive approach for sport, but Freddie Mainwaring,
the school football captain, is furious when he considers withdrawing
Grange Hill from the district cup. Freddie organises a series
of protests which rub Robson up the wrong way, but Peter admires
Fred's dedication and allows him to remain on the team.
Series 12 Mr Robson is
left to comfort Miss Booth, devastated by the death of Danny
Kendall.
Series 13 Mr Robson stops
Chrissy and Justine's T-shirt enterprise when he discovers a
garment with a a caricature of Mr Hargreaves. He enlists the
help of Linford Christie - a personal friend - to offer encouragement
to athletic prodigy Mike Bentley.
Series 14 Mr Robson is
promoted to acting deputy head when Mrs McClusky leaves temporarily.
He gets Calley some work experience at a local hotel and continues
his role as Mike's personal trainer. On the way home from
a training session, Mike and Peter are knocked off his motorbike.
Mr Robson finds it hard sharing a dorm with the boys in Dartmoor.
Series 15 Mr Robson finds
it hard working with the highly irritating Max Hargreaves. When
Year 9 throw mud over Max's car, he can't contain his delight.
He continues as deputy head once the new headmistress, Mrs Keele,
arrives.
Series 16 Now sixth form
co-ordinator, Mr Robson comes under fire from all sides when
he refuses to allow girls to join the school football teams.
He is forced to relent aftre Jodie sabotages the school match
with her protest - and the match is being videotaped.
Series 17 A visiting American
teacher, Martha Jordan, becomes Mr Robson's new love interest
and soon their liaison becomes playground gossip. However, things
don't work out and Martha dumps him during the choir's visit
to Germany.
Series 18 Mr Robson is
once again deputy head, missing out on the top job to the
never-seen Mr McNab. He offers Anna a second chance at Grange
Hill and helps Lucy through the death of her mum from an AIDS-related
illness.
