Grange Hill's resident bully remains an unpleasant individual
with little intelligence or redeeming qualities. He was
excluded for his part in Alex's attempted suicide but
amazingly, his exclusion was not made permanent. Even
more amazingly, Mooey is looking for new victims and still
won't leave Alex alone.
Should Mooey (real name Matthew) get in too deep, he
can always call on brother Max to help out; the pair
are the "Godfathers" of Grange Hill and rule
the school underworld with an iron grip. Mooey might
previously have been written off as a comedy villian,
but this year he appears to be showing the makings of
a genuinely sinister individual...
MOOEY'S
SCHOOL REPORT
Year 7 Mooey bullies
Jeremy since day one, even hanging him up in a school
locker. He almost blows the whistle on Tranter but Togger
talks his way out of trouble. Mooey faces resistance from
Annie when attempting to confront Tanya; on sports day
Mooey finds himself floored by a fed-up Jeremy.
Year 8 Mooey takes a short cut and beats Jeremy
in the cross-country run. He regularly baits Annie about
her dad but she snaps and floors him with a punch.
Year 9 Alex provides Mooey with an easy target
and extorts money from him on a regular basis. Alex tries
to stand up for himself but fails miserably. Eventually,
Alex confesses all and Mooey is excluded from Grange Hill.
Year 10 Determined to make Chloe pay for getting
him excluded, Mooey competes against the Wannabees to
steal the G-1 takings. Mooey continues to bully Alex
and warns him to throw the final in his favour - or
else. On the day, Alex wins and Mooey steals the prize
money from Alex's locker.
Year 11 Max and Mooey continue to make Alex's life
a living hell, taking an increasingly sizable chunk of
his smoothie profits. When Alex ends his enterprise they
still demand payment, and even send him on missions collecting
a fridge-freezer for them among other outrageous demands.
Eventually it is Togger who brings about the Humphries'
downfall, and the brothers end the year completely ostracised.
