School Days: 2003-2004
Mel moved into Grange Hill's sixth form in 2003, a newcomer
to the area. She oozed confidence and once she got a bee
in her bonnet nothing stood in her way. This got right
up Shannon's nose and in-fighting over the girls' football
team soon turned into catfighting on the pitch!
Mel was a go-for-it girl - highly organized, a straight-A
student determined to make the most of her time at school,
as well as proving her talents on the football field.

ROMANCE: Mel soon hooked
up with Nick Edwards, even though he was the total opposite
to her in his approach to schoolwork. It would have broken
Shannon's heart if a certain Ian Hudson hadn't been waiting...
