School Days: 2001-2002
Matt was the shy member of the Double Dare Gang, someone
who needed time to think about a scam before proceeding
with it. He lived with his retirement-age mother, and
has more luck with girls thanks to his sensitive nature.
Matt's outlook on life has been changed by his cancer
scare and, as he recovers from the illness, is gradually
learning to live life and have fun once again. |

MATT'S
SCHOOL REPORT |
 |
|
Year
7 Matt's dare is to plant a stink-bomb on Dai
Hard's chair. Dai Hard was left foaming at the mouth.
Matt followed Tom with a camera as he streaked around
the school.
Year 8 Matt initially
rebuffs Gemma's attentions but they became close friends.
Sean forces Matt to plant drugs on Wayne, and holds him
at knifepoint in the toilets to stop him squealing. Eventually
Gemma persuades Matt to confess all to Mr Robson.
Year 9 Matt consoles
Gemma when her parents announce divorce plans. The gang
storms her new boarding school with the others, in an
abortive "rescue" attempt. He later becomes
friendly with Tracy.
Year 10 The others
set Matt up with two unsuccessful blind dates, but soon
he found his own girlfriend, a beautiful Australian called
Sylvie.
Year 11 Matt attends
the testicular cancer lecture. During self-examination
he finds a lump, and is understandably terrified.
Year 12 Matt is recovering
and back at school. Briony helps him overcome his fears
and they have a brief fling. Matt and Tom help Lisa overcome
her agoraphobia and, when Briony starts being sick, Matt
think he's got her pregnant. Soon he realises she is bulimic
and vows to help her. |
