Another Johnson at Grange Hill! And guess
what, Lucy's a chip off the old block, with the same rebellious
streak that characterises Togger and Tigger. Having grown up
in a male-dominated household, Lucy despairs of the worst excesses
of laddish behaviour and is determined she'll smart her way
out of tricky situations - while still upholding the family
reputation. Lucy stands up for herself and doesn't let anyone
push her around, but will manipulate situations (and people)
to her advantage and isn't adverse to deception to make herself
more popular and more so if it lets her get one over on arch-enemy
Jenny.
Year
7 Lucy is late for her first day proper at Grange
Hill and ends up getting into a scrap with Jenny.
Lucy stands up to Chloe for stealing Rachel's watch.
She warns Bryn not to get himself noticed but at
the same time delights in winding him up.
Year 8 The war between Jenny and Lucy intensifies.
Rachel and Lucy fight when Rachel accidentally breaks
her MP3 player and offers to replace it with a better
one - not the right thing to say when Lucy's dad
is out of work, but they later make up.
