School Days: 2001-2003
Leah was a popular, high-achieving student with a good
school report during her first few years at Grange Hill.
The summer of 2001 saw her transformed into an unattainable
beauty and she would soon gain several admirers. But it
was an uphill struggle convincing classmates there was
more to her than looks, and in a world which oozes sexuality
Leah wasn't sure how to behave. This resulted in her traumatic
encounter with Tom in Year 10; ironically he would give
her the strength to be the more confident, rounded individual
who returned to the sixth form.
Leah thought of herself as a Christian despite not
being an active churchgoer. Her friendship with Shannon
had been fraught over the years, but at the time of
her departure things were going well between them.
