Holly was gorgeous and exuded confidence and personality.
She was also severely deaf, but remained determined to
lead a normal life, even though her hearing got significantly
worse over the years. She chose to stay at Grange Hill
rather than attend a specialist school - mainly because
she didn't want to desert best mate Eleanor, but also
because it was closer to home.
Nothing irritated her more than people who make allowances
or pay more attention to her. Especially if that person
happened to be Donnie - the fly in the ointment of her
otherwise burgeoning relationship with Baz.
REASON FOR LEAVING:
Left school to travel Australia.
HOLLY'S
SCHOOL REPORT
Year 12: Holly dumps
Baz when he tells her about his home life - she doesn't
need his baggage! Baz rescues Holly from the path of a
dustcart but it fails to re-ignite the spark between them.
Baz turns to Tanya but as the year ends,a possible reconciliation
is on the cards.
Holly works with Martin on the incinerator project
and counsels Tanya, who's under pressure from Baz to
take things further.
Year 13: Holly's world is blown apart when Baz
dies - she has to witness Mr McDonnell's attempts to revive
him on the football pitch where she arrives with a romantic
surprise. Holly is full of hate towards Anna, with whom
she believes Baz was cheating, until Anna assures her
all Baz could talk about was how happy he was with her.
Holly leaves Grange Hill early to tour Australia, where
she'll be staying with Baz's family.
