Easy-going, sometimes naive Duane was friends with Stewpot,
Claire and others. Like Colin Brown years later, he strived
to be one of the gang but found it hard to let go. He
saw girls and friends and perhaps found it easier being
around them. As time progressed Duane became more "laddish"
but still fairly shy. Romantically he never had much success,
but it never seemed to worry him that much. Where there
was Stewpot, there was Duane.
