School Days:
2001-2002
Danny was something of a mysterious character, with
a James Dean-like air about him. He transferred
to Grange Hill from Leaburn - the local trailer
trash school - with six GCSEs. He changed school
because he wanted to learn but found the much friendlier
atmosphere of Grange Hill difficult to get used
to. Danny is a passionate anti-smoking crusader
after losing his father to lung cancer. He rode
into school on a motorbike.

Year
12: Danny and Mr Hankin get off on the
wrong foot. Hankin thought he was selling cigarettes
to younger pupils; in fact Ozzie was responsible.
When Mr Hankin confiscated Ozzie's cigarettes, Ozzie
began a campaign of terror against Mr Hankin, who
thought Danny was his tormentor. The truth came
out when all three became trapped in the basement;
Ozzie was arrested while Danny and Mr Hankin were
reconciled.
Year 13: Vikki
chucks Danny when he can't bring himself to tell
her he wasn't going to university. Soon they get
back together. Ozzie manages to woo Vikki away from
Danny in a bet with his boss. When Danny finds out
he floors Ozzie and his final meeting with Vikki
is a bitter one. |

FAMILY: Lived with
his mum; they're very close. Danny works part time to
help her out and will be staying with her rather than
go to university.
