Chloe is mischievous verging on malevolent,
and fast turning out to be the bully everyone fears. Along with an increasingly reluctant Andrea she is forever on the prowl for scams and victims to terrorise.
Chloe's mum is in a wheelchair and she has to help look after her while Dad works shifts; she is angry with the world and her victims at Grange Hill bear the brunt. For many years Dad was on the sick ("but still managed to go down the pub"),
so Chloe learned there was no value in working. Chloe
thrives in other peoples' misery and will turn on her friends
if they rebel. No situation is off limits for Chloe, and she continues to make more enemies than friends.
Year
7 Chloe sets up an underground sweet shop, with
the stock stolen from Sammy's dad. The trio make
Alex's life hell and force Alison to reveal her
eczema, driving a wedge between Alison and Alex.
Tigger thwarts the Wannabees' attempts to make money
as parking attendants at the film premiere.
Year 8 Chloe pressures Sammy into helping
with the lost property scam. Dawn's MP3 player
is their downfall; Sammy confesses tearfully and
Chloe and Andrea turn on her, videoing her confession
and sending it to everyone's mobile. Chloe blackmails
Tigger, threatening to everyone about his problems
at home, but he speaks up first.
Year 9 Chloe has her sights set on Max and,
ignoring pleas from Andrea to give up, eventually
manages to get to him. Max is utterly humiliated
when Chloe takes him to Kathy's 18th birthday party.
In a new low, Chloe cashes in on Baz's death by
selling wristbands "for Baz".
Year 10 Sick of "carrying" her,
Chloe drops Andrea as a friend but they make up
after Andrea proves useless as a bully on her own.
Chloe and Andrea steal Chiquitita at the dog show
and use him to spin sob stories to get money off
the show visitors. Andrea is forced to reveal that Chloe's mum is in a wheelchair when Alex puts her on trial at his bully court.
