School Days: 1999-2004
Anika is a studious but sometimes scheming Asian girl
who could stand up to troublemakers with the greatest
of ease. She came from a Hindu family - Dad runs a stationery
shop and Mum is a part-time pharmacist. Anika was born
in Britain and though fully Westernised she upholds Hindu
traditions. If there's a cause to be fought for, Anika's
the girl to do it but she can sometimes get too engrossed
in a crusade to check the facts first. Ask Nick if you
don't believe me! Anika often felt her high academic performance
was taken for granted and knows her mum would do anything
to remove her from Grange Hill. |
REASON FOR LEAVING: Won
an exchange place to Grange Hill's "twin" school
in France with Josh Irvine.
ROMANCE: The younger Josh
spent Year 9 pursuing Anika and soon she was beginning to fall
for him. But when she caught Josh and Martin with the bra she
guessed what his true motives were. One year on she was looking
forward to going to France with Josh - wonder how they got on?
