THE WEEKLY NEWS FROM GH ONLINE Issue 79 12 March 2006
Hi!

Togger managed to escape the shed full of wild animals but probably wished he'd stayed there once Mrs Bassinger finished with him! Meanwhile, it was a sad farewell from Maddie as she realised she no longer fitted in at Grange Hill, Martin and Holly went incinerator-hunting and Grange Hill launched its very own Grand Prix!

Togger and Tanya

Last week on Grange Hill
TOGGER AND CO FOUND THEMSELVES
locked in a large shed - full of wild animals! Togger managed to flee the shed and raised the alarm, but no-one believed him about the wild animals. By the time Togger persuaded Mr Fox to have a look, the animals were gone and the others were hiding in wheelie bins! The lads managed to foil an animal smuggling ring, but Mrs Bassinger was every bit as wild as the tiger and gave Togger eight hours' detention.

Tanya was stunned when she was chosen as Year 10 school rep. But her campaign for the girls' PE kit didn't get far when she found out the governors had the final say (most likely not in her favour) and Eleanor shouted her down at the school council meeting.

Martin and Holly persuaded a firm to donate an incinerator to the school; Martin was fired up about it (pun not intended) and wanted to succeed to prove himself to the outside world. And the flag was raised on Grange Hill's Grand Prix - with Chloe eyeing up a share of the profits...

Things get dirty on and off the football pitch this week - and racism rears its ugly head. The school incinerator causes chaos and Togger gets to work on his quest to improve the school conveniences. Be there!
