THE WEEKLY NEWS FROM GH ONLINE Issue 69 06 November 2005
*** NEW SERIES SPECIAL ***

Wow! Doesn't seem like five minutes ago we were looking forward to the last series - but this week Grange Hill News previews another new series of Grange Hill which CBBC viewers can see from Monday. So what's in store for the pupils of Grange Hill this term?

Every weekday
FOR THE FIRST TIME,
Grange Hill will be on five times a week instead of the usual two. Catch each episode at 6pm on CBBC, from Monday 7 November.

Togger and Tanya Will they, won't they?
SIGNS OF A NEW UNDERSTANDING between Togger and Tanya began to emerge last series, following Tanya's kidnap ordeal. But will Grange Hill's most unlikely couple realise they are meant to be this year? Togger and the lads start to show a keen interest in the opposite sex, and while Togger evolves into a more responsible scally, he's keen as ever for some good harmless fun. Tanya, meanwhile, turns her crusading instincts to the school PE kit. Not long before Togger and Tanya find themselves together outside the head's office...

Holly

Ms Rawlinson

A boost for the sixth form
THREE NEW SIXTH FORMERS
join old favourites this year. Among them is Holly (Rebecca Anne Withey), a gorgeous, headstrong girl who is also severely deaf. Her best mate Eleanor won't take any bull from anyone, while Donnie (Rob Norbury) has his head in the clouds.

In the staffroom Ms Rawlinson (played by 'Allo 'Allo's Kim Hartman) joins the teaching staff, she lives for her job and loves to share her vast knowledge. The one departure this year is Annie Wainwright, now at a new school, which might be a result of her laptop theft last year. But we mightn't have seen the last of Annie...

Taylor

Taylor begs to come back
TIME WAS TAYLOR MITCHELL
wouldn't attend lessons if you paid him. Now he's back at the school gates - and begging to join the sixth form. Will Mrs Bassinger fall for his sob story? Tune in and see...

Sammy

Wannabee my soul mate?
MARTIN IS IN NEED OF A NEW
soulmate following Kathy's hook-up with ex-pupil Spencer, but can his new friendship with Maddie survive? Another friendship is on the rocks in Year 8 - Sammy's conscience continues to get the better of her and she's demoted to bottom of the pecking order in the Wannabees. Can the terrible trio survive, and if they go their seperate ways, will things turn nasty?

You know the drill by now folks. We'll have full coverage of the new series in THE KNOW with episode guides, character profiles and more. So be sure to check out www.grangehill.net/know.html for your complete guide to the new series!
