*** FAREWELL MR BRONSON ***

Grange Hill is in mourning this week following the death of Michael Sheard - who played tyrannical Mr Bronson so brilliantly in the 1980s. With his catchphrase "You boy!", he was probably Grange Hill's most famous teacher ever. Michael died at his home on Wednesday after losing his battle with cancer. His family were at his side. Our deepest sympathies go to Michael's wife Ros and their sons.
