THE WEEKLY NEWS FROM GH ONLINE Issue 60 31 July 2005

Hello!

Some great news for viewers with digital TV - the CBBC Channel will screen the new series of Grange Hill two months before its January showing on BBC1 this year!

School starts early next year!
For the first time ever, you'll be able to see the new series of Grange Hill BEFORE Christmas!

Series 29 will premier on the CBBC Channel from November and episodes will be shown every day instead of twice weekly. However, if you don't have digital fear not - the series will continue to be shown on BBC1, twice a week in January.

"CBBC is the perfect channel for trying something new with GRANGE HILL. We want to give viewers a chance to watch the show every night of the week during November so that they can see the stories unfold at the same pace as their own school lives," explains producer Karl Dolan.

The new series of Grange Hill starts Monday 07 November on CBBC. More information about the previews and backstage gossip in our Series 29 page!
