THE WEEKLY NEWS FROM GH ONLINE Issue 58 10 July 2005

Hello!

Summer's here and not long to those long summer holidays (if you're at school). But someone for whom it's always summer is Lee Sparke who played Jonah back in the 1980s. He's now living in sunny Sydney, while back home one Grange Hill fan had a special class at school...

Katrina's drama lesson to remember!

Katrina Bonnon had a drama lesson to remember - when the cast of Grange Hill turned up at her school!

Katrina won a Mersey TV competition in which the top prize was a visit to her school by members of the cast. Five Grange Hill favourites were in attendance - Sammy O'Grady (Kathy), Holly Quin-Ankrah (Karen), Chantelle Latham (Kat), Thomas Hudson (Baz) and of course, Chris Perry-Metcalf (Togger).

"I couldn't believe it when they all walked into our drama studio," Katrina told grangehill.com. "I had an amazing time. I was so sad to see Chris go. I wish he could've stayed all day!"

Katrina is a pupil of St Peter and St Paul's Catholic High School in Widnes, Halton, Liverpool.
