THE WEEKLY NEWS FROM GH ONLINE
Issue 52 01 May 2005

Hi folks...

Channel 4's documentary on the Grange Hill reunion is called "Bring Back...Grange Hill" and you can see it a week Tuesday on C4. And it's been a busy week for Grange Hill stars old and new who've been popping up in other shows this week...

Bring Back...Grange Hill Tuesday night is reunion night on C4
CHANNEL 4'S LONG-AWAITED
documentary on the Grange Hill cast reunion, which took place in February, can be seen not this Tuesday but the week after. Called Bring Back...Grange Hill, the programme follows presenter Justin Lee Collins as he tries to track down Grange Hill's Class of 1986 and persuade them to give a reunion chorus of "Just Say No".

As Justin discovers, this is no easy task, with many of the actors now working in other professions. But he still manages to cobble together the best known faces including Lee MacDonald, Alison Bettles, Fleur Taylor, George Christopher and Mark Savage.

Don't miss Bring Back...Grange Hill on Tuesday 10 May at 10pm on Channel 4.

Gwyneth Powell

Gwyneth does the soaps...
GRANGE HILL FAVOURITE
Gwyneth Powell has swapped London classrooms for the beatuty of the Yorkshire Dales, making a guest appearance in Emmerdale this week. Gwyneth plays Mrs Kidderminster, a widow involved in a land sale with the King family. This is Gwyneth's second stint in Emmerdale; in 1976 she appeared in the show with Heartbeat's William Simons as her screen husband. According to the TV mags, Gwyneth will continue to appear in this week's programmes.

Don't miss Emmerdale all this week at 7pm on ITV.

Josh Brown

...but Josh is a Casualty
MEANWHILE A NEWER GRANGE HILL
recuit has found his way to a guest role in Casualty this weekend. Josh Brown, aka Alex Pickering, appeared as an obese boy desperate to lose weight - but his overprotective mother was stopping him doing so. Attempts by Dr Selena Donovan to talk her round fell on deaf ears. Josh was one of several striking newcomers to Grange Hill this year, where he also plays an overweight boy struggling to cope with bullies and parents who spoil him rotten.
