THE
STORY SO FAR...
Annie
was annoyed that Dad had bought Baz a PlayStation for not getting
in the football squad. Sammy warned Chloe she couldn't go on supplying
sweets, but she seemed not to care. Under pressure to drum up numbers
for the mentoring scheme, Malachay put the idea of a mentor to Alex.
Spencer was
determined the film would be something the pupils wanted and not
the teachers. Malachay was in full toadying mode and encouraged
the pupils to vote for the contemporary option. The pupils, keen
to make things go against him, made a point of voting for My Fair
Lady. Taylor made his DJ debut and made a mockery of the school
notices and the staff. Mrs Bassinger allowed the station to continue,
Kat warned Taylor to tone it down and he was forced to deliver a
humiliating on-air apology.
Malachay told
Abel he was in the squad. But Togger wasn't - and he was so upset
he hid in the corner and broke down. Chloe agreed to wind up the
tuck shop to pay off Sammy's dad, but at lunchtime Malachay caught
the girls trading. Chloe and Andrea disappeared, leaving Sammy to
carry the can. Spencer was less than thrilled when Malachay persuaded
him to join the mentoring scheme. Realising it would impress the
girls, he reluctantly agreed. A meeting was set up between Spencer
and Alex; Spencer told Alex he had no time for his problems and
to tell Malachay everything was OK when asked!
Andy and Abel
couldn't find Togger; the girls were so wrapped up in their French
e-mailing Andy blurted out that Togger was rejected. Togger reacted
badly when Tanya tried to show genuine concern. The film team were
amazed when My Fair Lady won the film vote. Abel caught up with
Togger and tactlessly invited him for a kickabout - he just wanted
to go home.
Tanya came
into school wearing red stilettos and predictably was pulled up
by Miss Adams. She changed back into her school shoes after giving
Miss Adams a piece of her mind. Annie rolled in late for registration;
Miss Adams tried to find out what was wrong.
The film team
protested to Mrs Bassinger about the poll result. Mrs Bassinger
ruled the result must stand - My Fair Lady it is. A furious Spencer
vowed to have nothing to do with the production. Annie showed Baz
a letter from her mum - she was pregnant again, Annie was furious
and was surprised by Baz's laid-back reaction. Tanya dolled herself
up for the photo; Emma stood guard at the door and was almost disturbed
by Mrs Bassinger.
Maddie was
upset when Karen snubbed a girls' night out to see Taylor. Karen
denied Maddie's suggestion their relationship was one-sided. Baz
and Togger commiserated each other for not making the academy. Annie
found a credit card application form - and filled it in her mum's
name. Baz turned up late for swimming practice and stormed off when
scolded by Malachay. Malachay threw him off the team.
Malachay persuaded
Spencer the film could be his own interpretation of My Fair Lady.
Tanya was told to remove her hair extensions by the weekend - or else.
She locked herself in the radio room and publicly attacked the school
rules. Mrs Bassinger lay in wait for Tanya and banned her from the
French exchange. Togger, looking on, even thought this was harsh.
