IT'S BACK! All your favourites and
more are back in a brand new series, now showing on BBC1.
There
are several new faces in the sixth form - Holly Parsons (Rebecca
Anne Withey), a gorgeous and confident girl who's also severely deaf.
She's been to Grange Hill for years and is determined to lead as normal
a life as possible. Even so, Baz proves her knight in shining armour...Her
best mate Eleanor (Amber Hodgkiss) is a no-nonsense streetwise
crusader who'll do anything to get her point across. And there's Donnie,
who is the complete antithesis of Eleanor - he's bumbled his way through
school but somehow his uncompromising nature looks set to gain as
much respect as it does trouble.
In Year 10, Tanya has lost none of her ability for causing
a stir and Togger can't believe how much she's changed over
the summer. But the old Tanya is still there and in her latest crusade
she launches a campaign against the girl's PE uniform. The lads are
now taking an active interest in the opposite sex and Andy comes up
with a hair-raising way of pulling the ladies. Meanwhile, Togger and
Tanya find themselves outside the head's office together - will Grange
Hill's unlikeliest couple become an item? Maybe if Dawn and
Katrina have anything to do with it...but Togger's got more
serious things to worry about this year, as his home life is in turmoil.
Tongues start wagging when he arrives at school with a black eye...Emma
also has a new perspective on life thanks to a holiday in Indonesia.
In the sixth form, Martin is desperate for a new soulmate and
finds himself up against Dawn in an enterprise competition. Meanwhile,
Chloe and chums embark on another moneymaking scam - but Sammy
finds herself lower down in the pecking order. Can the Wannabees survive
as a trio - will any break-up be without revenge? And will Alex
find Year 8 any better than last year? Mooey has amazingly
escaped permanent exclusion for driving Alex to breaking point last
year, and is looking for new victims to prey on. Perhaps Humphries
Jnr is the man to take Chloe down a peg or two...
A new face
in the staffroom is Ms Rawlinson, who comes to Grange Hill
with bags of experiences and lives for teaching. Ms Rawlinson is played
by Kim Hartman, famous for her role in BBC sitcom Allo Allo!.
And look out for the opening of Grange Hill's new after-school
cafe, which gives pupils and staff somewhere to chill out after
a hard day's studies.
