to shine as she battles to overcome her lack of confidence due
to dyslexia. She comes from a large Asian family of five children,
and is really loved. She works around the house and looks after
her younger sister. Her brothers are encouraged to do well at
school and as long as Serena is happy she is not pushed educationally.
Serena tries hard not to be noticed and a good school day is
one when she isn't asked a question or required to carry out
a task. Serena strikes up a friendship with Megan, and they
learn a lot from each other becoming good friends.
