Ian Steele - aka Brian Shaw - is organising a reunion for his Grange
Hill co-stars: "All sound great. I
have had an e-mail from Melanie Joseph (Lauren) and Jamie Groves
(Josh). I think Martino Lazzeri is in America at the moment so I
will try and catch him on his mobile. We are going to go for around
the 14th October to all meet as its a lot harden then we thought.
The agent idea is very good. Speak soon." Good news
Ian - hope you manage to track down some more people and we'll be
delighted to help with this. Keep us informed about dates, times
etc. and hope you have a great night!
* Were you in Grange Hill any time between
1990-1996? If you were, Ian would love you to attend his reunion
evening in London. Click here

Where is Diane Cooney?01/10/2005
Richard R: "Could you please help
me? I was just wondering what happened to Julie-Ann Steel who played
Diane?" Hi Richard - sadly we don't have any info
on Julie-Ann. Many Grange Hill actors don't continue with a showbiz
career after leaving the series and disappear back into the real
world - Julie could be one such person. Does anyone know where Julie-Ann
Steel is now? If you do, please tell
us!
Happy
Birthday GH Online!
UPDATED 11/10/2005
Malcolm Neale congratulates GH Online on its fifth anniversary:
"Hi Simon, I just want to take the
opportunity to say Happy Birthday to GH Online and to congratulate
you on giving us five years of the best and most comprehensive Grange
Hill coverage around. I first went on the internet in October 2000
and found your site a few days later, so I have been with you almost
from day one. Thanks again for five very enjoyable years. Long may
GH Online continue."
George Christopher, aka Grange Hill legend Ziggy Greaves, says:
"Congratulations on 5 years.....heres
to another 5 years!"
Many thanks Malcolm and we're delighted you've been a regular for
so long now. The last five years have been exciting times for Grange
Hill and it's been a pleasure to cover the on-screen and off-screen
happenings at TV's most famous school. We hope to carry on with
more of the same; only a month now to the new series and the first
to preview on CBBC. Hope you continue to enjoy GH Online - and Grange
Hill!
Copying the Parrott into acting01/10/2005
Michael Reaper asks: "What year was
Peter Leeper in Grange Hill? He's my cousin and I'm thinking of
joining an acting school to follow his foot steps."
Hi Michael - Peter played Mr Parrott between 1993 and 1996, first
appearing towards the end of Series 16. After leaving the show he
appeared in a programme trail on BBC1, but that was the last time
we saw him on TV. Good luck with your acting ambitions!
My Grange Hill friend Lily01/10/2005
Thokozani Norushe asks: "Hi I am
just wondering if you ever cast a girl called Lily in any of your
series. She left Fleet School in 1992/3 in Hampstead Heath and attended
Acland Burghley in Camden. If she ever starred in any of your series
please tell her that one of her favourite fans now lives in South
Africa and also attended both schools with her. She may not remember
me, but I also recall her from Robert Carlysle's The Priest."
Sorry Thokozani, we don't know of any Lily in Grange Hill. It's
possible she could have been an extra, or acted under a stage name.
However, GH Online is not the official Grange Hill site and, as
such, we have no way of knowing. Sorry I can't be more help.
Top marks for Video Vault
01/10/2005
Nicky thanks us for a trip down memory lane: "I
think your website is wicked - especially the video section. I've
spent a whole evening reminiscing and I had such fun! Cheers!"
Hi Nicky and glad you like us! More archive video is planned with
a tribute to Michael Sheard (aka Mr Bronson) shortly, and if there's
a clip you've like to see added let us know! Thanks again for your
kind comments and keep visiting!
What happened to Jackie?01/10/2005
David Herrera-Rooney writes: "Hi
there, great website, brought back many happy memories of rushing
my homework just to see what was happening in the latest episode.
Can you tell me what every happened to Melissa Wilks? The last thing
I recall seeing her on was a Rab C Nesbitt special when I think
she was a homeless single mum (but not Sure). Once again what a
site, nice one. Keep it up!" Thanks David! Melissa
is still acting but mostly on stage these days. She hasn't been
seen on TV for several years now. Never knew she was in Rab C Nesbitt!
Melissa now has a teenage daughter, though we don't know if she's
a Grange Hill fan!
