 Tigger places a bottle
holder above the sports trophy cabinet - and is confident he can run
up with the winning card during the radio show. Alex asks for a cut
of the magic show profits - Tigger turns him down flat. Meanwhile,
Max and Mooey are looking for Alex and Alison fears he's being bullied
by the brothers again. He denies that he is, but asks to borrow some
money off her.
Miss Gayle tells Alex the school has authorised funding for a replacement blender. Alex declines the offer, insisting the smoothie business was impacting on his schoolwork. Miss Gayle is suspicious. Max and Mooey, meanwhile, warn Alex to pay them their £10 or else - Mr McDonnell spots them and again urges Alex to tell him what's going on. Ed and Tigger ask Mr McDonnell to officiate over radio show. Emma does a pregnancy test - it's positive. She's desperate to speak to Tanya but she's been called into the salon. Togger accuses Tanya of playing games with him by not telling him the truth about Luke. The Wannabees force Rachel to swap her watch for a cheapo one they offer - she does so with no resistance. Holly tells Donnie she plans to travel Australia's Gold Coast - which she planned to do with Baz - and will be staying with Baz's relatives there.The radio show attracts a large crowd in the canteen. Alison picks Kyle as a volunteer and the card trick goes smoothly - Tigger manages to duck out the studio and place Kyle's chosen card in the bottle holder without detection. Everyone goes up to the trophy cabinet to find Kyle's prize awaiting him. Mr McDonnell's initial amazement turns to suspicion - but everyone is queuing to buy their own Magic Bottle Holder. An unexpected customer turns up at the salon - Miss Gayle! Tanya tries to hide but is then asked to tend to her deputy head. Tanya is hoping she's got away with it as for the most part Miss Gayle lies back with closed eyes. Then, Miss Gayle confronts Tanya for truancy.Holly announces she's leaving Grange Hill for her Australian adventure, prompting tearful goodbyes from her friends. Alex still hasn't paid off the Humphries and they insist he gets the money from Ed and Tigger. But Alex can't betray his friends and shies away from the deed. Max and Mooey press him again - Alex tells them it's all in hand, but how long can he get away with lying to them? |
