 Andrea can't believe it
when all Chloe can think about is how Baz's death ruined her chances
with Max at his 18th birthday party. Chloe retorts at least she's
honest about her feelings and isn't a hypocrite like everyone else
visiting the shrine. She further embarrasses herself in Science, claiming
Baz's real name was Basil!
The school awaits the result of Baz's post mortem and unofficially, the Wainwrights have been told his death had something to do with the football match. Holly mistakes a lookalike for Baz in the playground. Emma lights up when Kyle returns to school. Alex is delighted when Miss Gayle summons him - he's hoping she'll pull the plug on his smoothie business because of the effect it's having on his work. Instead she's salivating over a photo opportunity for Grange Hill and has invited the local paper to report on the success of his enterprise. Alex hopes to escape the photo call by hanging out with Ed and Tigger, but Ms Rawlinson is there to round him up when the photographer arrives.Togger is back at school and Tanya passes on the unofficial PM results. Anna interrupts their moment together but Togger takes the chance to finish with her - she seems hardly surprised but says she's there if he needs her. Tanya asks Emma to cover for her once again but instead she plans to meet Kyle on the roof. Donnie catches up with Togger and floors him. Holly's arrival prevents things going further but Donnie makes clear he wants Togger locked up. Kathy and Karen discuss afterlife and Karen suggests people are reincarnated as insects. As Kathy sits her driving theory test, a bee lands on her computer screen and she thinks it's Baz's spirit - spooked, she messes up the test.Karen follows Tanya. She tells Karen she's training to be a hairdresser - and that Luke is her boss. Karen threatens to tell her mum but backs off when Tanya promises it won't interfere with schoolwork. Emma and Kyle enjoy a romantic picnic on the roof. After his increasingly romantic overtures, Emma is certain she wants to go all the way and they have sex. The deed done, Emma wants the moment to last but Kyle seems keen to go when the afternoon bell rings.The post-mortem results are announced - Baz was suffering from a heart condition, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and could have died at any time. Tanya tells Togger but it does little to reassure him - they decide to go for a coffee. |
