 Tigger winds up the travellers'
dog en route to school; the Alsatian chases him all the way to Grange
Hill! Kathy, in another driving lesson, almost runs them over. Tigger
is forced to take cover behind Tanya and Emma until a mystery boy
walks into the playground and immediately pacifies the dog. Emma immediately
takes a shine to his heroics.
Bryn tries to thank Ali for helping him, but he continues his silent act. Even in class, Bryn is not safe from jokers who hide his things - the questions he asks in Geography cause much amusement among cassmates. Lucy and Rachel warn him not to "get noticed" which is really a ploy to steal his coat! They don't reckon for Ali, who again gets it back for him. Holly is planning a surprise 18th birthday party for Baz, and asks Donnie to make sure the football team is there. Chloe overhears with interest. Emma is pleased when the mystery boy, Kyle, turns up in 11A's form room. When the dog saga is mentioned Togger and Jeremy lock horns in a debate about travellers, with Togger defending them and Jeremy denigrating them. Kyle appears to take Jeremy's side, which upsets Emma.Emma asks Tanya about her boyfriend, Luke. He arranges to meet Tanya this afternoon; Emma is alarmed that she's planning to sneak off. Jeremy has picked up on the chemistry between Tanya and Togger, and challenges Togger to make a move. With Abel's help he submits a request for Tanya to Radio Grange Hill. At lunchtime, Eleanor reads out the slushy request; Tanya can't believe her ears while Togger, with his earphones in, is oblivious to everything and is vexed when he gets funny looks in the playground. Martin is worried that Mrs Bassinger hasn't talked to him about university - does this mean he isn't cut out for it? Karen struggles to get support for her dance classes. Andrea is keen but not Chloe who can't imagine Max would be interested. She's determined to get into the sixth form party; Max would surely see her differently there. Chloe resolves to gatecrash the party with "lost tickets".Alex worries about the competition which is driving people away from his smoothie stall. Alex refuses to give Max and Mooey "their 5%", they spit in his smoothies and later steal the takings. Tanya meets Togger in the after-school café, as invited by her radio dedication. Tanya thanks Togger for his lovely words but again he's got his earphones in. When he finally unplugs Togger has no idea what Tanya is on about. Another stand-up row erupts and Togger vents his anger about Luke. Emma and Kyle are getting along famously and sneak out during lunchtime, but Emma is gobsmacked when she discovers Kyle is one of the travellers! |
