 The Humphries grill various
Year 7s to find out who took the photo of Max. They give Alex until
the afternoon to get their fridge freezer. Alison warns Alex the longer
he stays silent about his bullying the worse it will get. Tanya resolves
not to invite Togger to her 16th birthday party, but Lucy warns Tanya
that if she was a real mate, she'd know he didn't spill.
Togger's thoughts are not on tonight's football match but making amends with Tanya. Abel tells him to apologise for a quick fix. Donnie is seething at the prospect of having to play Togger - as far as he's concerned, Togger killed Baz and he won't be showing him any favours. Kathy in particular is alarmed by his intransigence. Alex tells Bryn to see what he can find out about the photo of Max - and to be there at lunchtime to get the fridge. Alex finds his refrigerator at a local junk shop and he and Bryn make light work of wheeling it towards Grange Hill. Then, Bryn reveals Chloe took the photo of Max - he found out from Lucy - causing Alex to let go of their treasure which speeds off through a nearby park! Some youths, furious when the fridge crashes into them, install the fridge in the centre of a lake with Alex and Bryn sat atop!Prior to the match, Mr McDonnell puts Togger and Donnie up front together. Donnie challenges McDonnell's decision but he won't change it. Kathy urges Donnie to end the bad feeling between him and Togger. Surprisingly, Kathy's pleas register and there is no unpleasantness on the pitch. Max enjoys rubbing Ross's nose into it as he rehearses with Karen for the dance finals. Alex and Bryn return with the fridge - but a crowd commandeers it and the fridge bolts upright, causing the ball to bounce off it and Grange Hill to score the winning goal! Alex reveals the identity of Max's photographer; the Humphries confront Chloe but McDonnell prevents them doing her any damage.Ali warns Bryn he thinks Alex is bullying him. Tanya tries apologising to Togger for accusing him of spreading Emma's news. But he's furious at how she's treated him and flatly refuses Tanya's invitation to be guest-of-honour at her forthcoming birthday party. Emma sends her to Coventry too... |
