 Kathy returns Donnie's
watch, with details of where she found it. She presses him for details
on how she got into bed, but he's saying little. Kathy is certain
she's slept with him and asks him outright but he's not going out
of her way to reassure her. Miss Gayle has requested a meeting with
Kathy's mum but Kathy is understandably more concerned about the implications
of their night together.
Miss Gayle orders an end to talk of Baz's ghost. Donnie is there to formally unveil Baz's memorial trophy, he's far from impressed by the official inscription "The Barry Wainwright Cup for Best Sports Person of the Year" as he wanted to the cup to be associated with football only. Alex returns to school, distant and apprehensive as ever. Alison is sure he's being picked on again; unable to hide the truth, he urges her not to get involved. It's not long before Alex is confronted by Mooey, who refuses to entertain Alex's excuse that he has the same heart problem as Baz. The brothers order Alex to restore motivation into their raffle and expect a "big prize" from him. Emma spends more time hiding in the toilets, as more people are aware of her condition. Tanya more or less admits she doesn't want Emma to have the baby.Ross is injured during rehearsals for the dance competition and Max has to help carry him to the medical room. Chloe and Andrea stage "happy slapping" photos which Chloe hopes she can blame on Max and get him into serious trouble. Andrea has a better idea seeing Max chairlift the injured Ross - why not make Max out to be gay instead? Chloe is horrified - what would that do for her reputation if people thought she fancied someone who was gay? Ross looks like he'll be out of action for a while but Max is unusually keen to replace him as her dancing partner, much to her disgust. Alex tracks down Bryn and warns him to get some decent gadgets off his classmates. Seeing Alex in the canteen spooks Bryn into putting his hand right in his food - his classmates become concerned. Chloe hides in the changing rooms - she can't get to Max's phone but she does snap him in a vain pose before the mirror! Alex tells Bryn they're going to steal a fridge-freezer.Miss Gayle tells Mrs McIlroy about Kathy walked out of her exam - forcing Kathy to tell her about her sexual "experience" and to name Donnie as the protagonist. Donnie is summoned and forced to admit nothing happened between him and Kathy. She's furious - how could he let her take the morning-after pill knowing that? Donnie is unrepentant, even when Miss Gayle contacts his parents to advise them of the situation. |
