Lucy gives Tigger until
the end of the day to find Cuddles the guinea pig. Tigger finds guinea
pig droppings in the corridor, and is sure Cuddles can't be far so
they head off to search the bins. Sure enough, Cuddles is there but
thanks to Togger and Tanya walking in on them they miss him. Lucy
is embarrassed by Rachel's crush on Togger.
Emma is staying at Tanya's - with the unusually enthusiastic approval
of her mum. Emma is determined mum mustn't find out the reason she's
there; Karen and Jenny are suspicious about why Emma is spending
so much time throwing up in the bathroom, and Tanya tells Karen
about the fight Emma had with her mum at the start of term. Knowing
he really has a chance with Tanya, Togger tells her he doesn't want
anything to blow it so he suggests Tanya takes time out to spend
with Emma.
The Humphries are furious when all Alex could bring them is an old
teapot for their raffle. Alex has to set his sights higher and almost
manages to lift an MP3 player before the bell disturbs him. When Tigger
drops his bag, Alex helps himself to his digital camera - but is troubled
by the photos of happier times between the three friends.
Eleanor is desperate to find out what happened after Kathy's party,
but she refuses to give anything away. Donnie is also tight-lipped,
but when Eleanor asks Donnie straight out he says nothing happened,
and anyway, why on earth would he sleep with a frump like Kathy?
Typically, Kathy is just round the corner and hears everything,
forcing Donnie to grovel. Kathy takes his words to heart and concedes
maybe she is supposed to be the class spod. Eleanor challenges Kathy
to a makeover.
Tanya gives Emma the money for an abortion - if she does it now, it'll
be over quickly and Emma will have her life back. But Emma still can't
think about it. After school, Tigger is ready to concede defeat on
Cuddles but suggests "Baz Watch" as their latest money-spinning
scheme. The lads are spooked by ghostly noises but it's just the caretaker
locking up and he sends them on their way. Cuddles, meanwhile, prepares
to spend another night wandering the corridors of Grange Hill... |
