Togger prepares for the screening of his toilets film. He chuckles when Donnie makes a racist jibe at Taylor; Abel blanks Togger and he can't understand why. Sammy warns Chloe she was pushing her luck with the "lost and found" scam. Chloe tells Sammy to steal an MP3 player but she refuses, Chloe and Andrea sit elsewhere. Sammy tries to persuade Chloe to think again about selling stolen property; Chloe despairs at her intransigence. Faced with the prospect of losing her "friends", Sammy eventually agrees to help them sell the MP3 player.
Dawn lords it up in the canteen. New girl Amy - whose boyfriend Dawn stole in Year 11 - sees a chance to finally get her own back. Togger presents the first draft of his film at lunchtime - it hadn't got beyond the intro and Dawn savages it. Kathy and Amy stick up for Togger - and Dawn almost goes for Kathy again! Mrs Bassinger bans Taylor from radio work and E-Grange until he caught up with overdue assignments. Taylor and Kathy are both dejected but Kathy perks up once Amy volunteers to help run the cafe.
Abel confides in Taylor about the incident with Donnie. Taylor assures him Togger isn't racist and that Donnie is a big-mouth. Togger is upset that Abel didn't come along to his screening; Abel accuses Togger of racism for laughing along with Donnie. Togger insists he was laughing at Donnie, not with him, and is upset that Abel could even think he was racist. Abel tells all about his dad being forced out of sport by a racist society and that's why he can't forgive Abel for leaving the academy. The football trials are approaching and Togger urges Abel to prove he wasn't a quitter.
Donnie asks Baz how far he'd got with Tanya. He says it was early days but Donnie couldn't understand why he was taking it steady. To shut him up, Baz says he planned to get "far enough" tonight - unaware Tanya is listening in behind them! Emma plans to return home but in light of what she'd just heard, Tanya persuades her to stay with her. Baz is disappointed when she cancels tonight's date; he accuses Tanya of putting Emma before him.
Abel squares up to Donnie and calls him a racist bully. Donnie takes a swing at him; Abel says if he wanted to prove himself the big man he'll do it on the pitch. Tanya asks Holly how far she got with Baz - she tells him not to do anything she didn't feel ready for. On the pitch, Abel fells Donnie with a superb tackle and kicks the ball right into the net.
