The Hill has been suspended
for the week following Tanya's antics. Annie isn't interested in Tanya's
self-pity; she phones to activate "her" credit card and has more important
things to worry about - namely her mum. Spencer is in a panic because
he hasn't advertised the auditions and hurriedly trots some posters
out. But they don't say what time the auditions were! Togger and Andy
practice their times for the "On Yer Bike" event; Togger is determined
to win.
The jealousy between Togger and Abel grows when Abel is banned
from taking part in the bike ride. In the playground, Abel is besieged
by fans wanting his autograph. Andy tells Togger Abel was finding
this hard too and once again heals the rift between the pair. The
Year 7 lads are having a kickabout and Tigger kicks the ball at
Kathy, causing her to drop the scripts. The auditions go disastrously,
with a reluctant Tanya and Togger picked to do a reading. Emma and
Jeremy show more enthusiasm.
Alex tries to get out of swimming but Alison stops him bunking off.
Mr McDonnell makes him find some trunks from the "skid cupboard",
but there's nothing there to fit him and he joined Alison on the bench.
Tigger finds a fake toe and throws it in the pool. It is found by
a terrified girl and when nobody owns up, Mr McDonnell sends everyone
back to the changing rooms. Alison urges Alex to stand up to Mooey
after witnessing another ambush from the Year 9 bully. Alex tries
to lose Mooey by shouting to Spencer but he's too wrapped up with
the play. Spencer sends Alex away with a camcorder when he turns up
for his mentoring session. Alex huddles in a corner and pours his
heart out on film.
Tanya is thrilled when Jean e-mails to say he wouldn't be coming
on the exchange - instead he'll be coming to meet her personally!
Annie lets Tanya buy some clothes with her credit card. Dawn rubbishes
Kathy's script and is backed up by Malachay, disappointed the songs
have been reworked into rap. Kathy challenges Dawn to do better.
Martin mentions he cannot understand the original My Fair Lady so
Dawn decides her script will champion personal individuality. Spencer
sees the footage of Malachay performing one of the songs. When Malachay
installs Emma and Jeremy as the leads - without them having to audition
- Spencer realises Malachay has swung the vote. Furious, he confronts
Malachay but he speeds off on his bike.
