As Year 11's first exam
nears, Baz is more concerned with Annie and Karen with Tanya. Tanya
finalises plans to meet Lucy - she'll be coming to Grange Hill at
lunchtime. Annie counts a large envelope full of money in the toilets,
and is almost caught out by Miss Adams. She despairs as the money
isn't enough - then she finds a ring someone has left behind. Baz
sees her offer it to two girls. Andy is so worried about his SATs
results he is physically sick!
Spencer has something to tell Kathy, but before he can, Kat announces
plans for a Hollywood-style premiere on Radio Grange Hill. Kathy
invites Spencer to her place and he accepts, much to her delight.
Dawn and Martin discover there are scenes missing. Kat is furious;
it doesn't help that Spencer had hijacked the DVD cover design!
Kathy arrives and is upset to learn Spencer had spent time at the
other girls' houses. Alex reports to Spencer as arranged; Spencer
confesses he'd lost the missing scenes. Alex suggests they shoot
a bridging scene to explain the gap - and that Spencer faces the
music. Dawn and Kat angrily confront Spencer - humbled, he offers
to explain all to Mrs Bassinger if they can't finish the bridging
work on time. Year 9 get their SATs results back; everyone has done
well apart from Abel, whose marks are poor. Miss Adams is not pleased
and Togger is furious Abel seems to be getting away with everything.
Togger wastes no time volunteering himself as a ticket-seller for
the premiere - when he hears the prize for selling the most tickets
would be to hobnob with the stars.
At lunchtime, Abel is busy catching up on work. He tells Andy he can't
attend the premiere - and is struggling to cope with his schedule.
Togger designs a poster for his ticket stall. Andy tries putting Abel's
case to Togger, but Togger is fed up with playing second fiddle to
Abel's football and declares their friendship over. The time comes
for Tanya's meeting with Lucy and she gets last-minute nerves - then,
Lucy approaches her in the playground. Trembling, Lucy reveals how
she met "Ben" online and they arranged to go to a McFly concert. Ben
never showed up - but his "uncle" did and bundled Lucy in his van.
Kathy walks in on Spencer and Kat's passionate embrace - how could
he invite himself over to her place when all the time he and Kat
were an item? Kathy is embarrassed to discover this was purely a
rehearsal for the bridging scene. As she runs off in tears, Spencer
is stunned to learn of Kathy's feelings towards him. Annie lets
Abel borrow her homework - but her money falls out of her bag and
is picked up by the cleaners. Annie is frantic; Baz watches as Annie
searched for the missing cash. But it is nowhere to be found - Annie
crumples in the corner as her search proved fruitless.
Togger offers two tickets for the price of one; Malachay catches him
in the act and confiscates their tickets. Lucy reveals she'd spotted
Simon's house. Karen points Lucy out to Mrs Bassinger; when she approaches
Tanya and Lucy, Lucy think she's been set up and is furious. Tanya
struggles to convince her otherwise; the police arrive as Lucy tries
to leave; eventually, Tanya persuades her to tell all. |
