Despite impassioned pleas
from Alison, Alex is adamant he doesn't want to go on the school trip.
If he does, he'll get picked on because he's slower than everyone
else and at least if he was at school he could go home at the end
of the day. Alison confronts Ed about why he's no longer hanging out
with Alex - he admits he finds Alex an embarrassment to be seen with.
She challenges Ed to prove his friendship with him.
Shooting on the school DVD progresses painfully; Spencer is happy
with Jeremy's performance but Dawn is adamant he has to go - else
she would! Dawn finds Jeremy and they deliver the bad news. He's
astounded and Spencer feels awful. Jeremy breaks down as he opens
his locker to find the acting book his parents had given him. Tigger
winds up Togger by claiming he's on a final warning from Mrs Bassinger
- and that he could only go on the trip if Togger supervises him!
Togger is unnerved at the prospect of little bro cramping his style.
In the playground Tigger kicks a football into a bin - Togger takes
the rap, but warns Tigger he'll make his life hell. Tigger is unfazed.
At the end of the day, Tigger comes clean about winding his brother
up.
Martin complains to Mrs Bassinger about the IT restrictions, saying
everyone is being punished for Tanya's actions and pupils are missing
out on the educational benefits. Mrs Bassinger announces plans to
lift the restrictions once every class had been given IT safety talks.
Baz surprises Annie by presenting her with the money for the trip
- from Dad. He doesn't know she's already paid with her credit card.
When Tanya sees the wad Annie claims it is spending money. Max goads
Baz about fancying Annie - he lunges at him and warns him to stay
away. A friendship continues to grow between Martin and Maddie. Baz
takes another shot at Martin in PE - Martin surprises himself by warning
him to back off.
Ed reassures Alex he's still his best mate. But his joy is short-lived
once Mooey corners him, demanding £5 "or else". Mr Fox calls a meeting
for those going on the trip. Maddie accuses Taylor of coming on
to her, while Baz and Karen look on. Martin asks Kathy why she never
calls any more; she claims it was because of the film. Spencer installs
himself as Jeremy's replacement in the film; Emma walks out when
she discovers he's been axed, but worries about telling everyone
the news. With Mrs Bassinger watching the shoot, Dawn talks Kat
into taking Emma's place. Alison again tries to persuade Alex to
come on the trip. He says if Mooey was coming he wouldn't be - Alison
assured him Mooey's name wasn't down. The pair are joined by Mr
Fox wanting a decision - Alex announces he is going after all. Alison
is thrilled.
