| Annie started the day cheerful; she and Baz had a good time with
their dad. Togger was looking forward to the cross-country run - he
saw money to be made if he could find the time capsule. Uncle Tucker
helped bury it years ago and Togger drew a map of the supposed location.
Emma unwittingly picked the map up. Baz told Annie their dad had gone
missing just before Year 8 took off for their cross-country run. Mooey
tripped Jeremy up at the start - both were determined to beat the
other. Mooey goaded Annie about her dad en route and a worried Annie
tried phoning home.
Togger, Abel and Andy couldn't find the phone box where the capsule was supposed to be. They ended up in someone's garden and were caught by the owner who made them do some digging. When the man's back was turned, Andy discovered the tunnel entrance. The went down the tunnel and found themselves in a sewer; Andy and Abel wanted to go back but Togger ploughed on. They ended up back where they started. Mooey took a short cut and finished before Jeremy. Mel started to doubt Nick's innocence and she hadn't been returning his calls. Shannon continued to shut Ian out. He confronted her just as the funeral cortege for her grandad pulled up. Shannon didn't want Ian at the funeral but he waited for her. Frustrated, Ian again begged Shannon to open up. He was stunned when she told him it was over between them. Mr Green covered Year 10's biology lesson and they fooled him into thinking they were doing reproduction. The class thought it was a giggle except Martin. Taylor forced Josh to give him Martin's dinner money; Josh was preoccupied by matters of the heart while Martin admitted he didn't know what to do around Kathy.Nick warned Taylor to stay away from Mel, but when Taylor was unfazed he tried reasoning again. Emma dropped her folder; Malachay found Togger's map and made the lads do the run again after school. Tanya noticed Emma and Andy starting at each other adoringly. Emma later got a text message from Andy. Taylor unveiled Nick's secret; Nick and three others did Taylor's friend over leaving him deaf in one ear. Taylor said they attacked him because of the colour of his skin; Mel refused to believe Nick could be racist. |
