| Leah's parents are back together again. Togger goes back to the
tank room and the mystery boy again tries to escape. Togger persuades
him that he wants to help. The boy's name is Tranter; his parents
are dead and he's been living in the school for three months to avoid
being taken into care. Annie is again late for registration and frantically
tries calling Baz on her mobile. Miss Dyson is in a foul mood and
confiscates her phone. Annie storms out in a strop.
Kathy tries again to get Martin to notice her, and asks who he
fancied. He says none of the pretty girls will talk to him, leaving
her put out. Josh loses his Mohican. He asks Kathy's advice on talking
to Anika; they do a role play. Martin walks in and thinks Kathy
and Josh are an item. Josh takes the plunge and asks Anika out.
She turns him down, saying she was interested until the bra incident
and says boys are all the same. Maddie goes round to Baz's and sees
him flaked out on the sofa. She again thinks Baz is dealing after
seeing pill bottles on the table.
Ian steps up his "save the fields" campaign, inviting graffiti
on the temporary walls. Malachay catches him at it; Ian is confident
he'd get Robson's support but Malachay insists that as an ex-PE teacher,
Robson will make good the sale.
Annie is upset about her mobile. Togger attempts to retrieve it;
but Maddie swipes it when Miss Dyson puts her bag down. Maddie again
demands to know what the mystery is. Togger introduces Tranter to
Abel, Annie and Tanya. Tranter is alarmed at first but the gang
wins his trust. Shannon is stunned when Leah announces she is leaving
Grange Hill. Leah warns Malachay to stay away from her mum, but
he insists it is none of her business. Shannon and Leah say their
goodbyes; Leah insists she needed a fresh start away from the school.
As Leah is driven off, Shannon is angry she's been deserted.
