The lower school is busy campaigning for the website editor
elections. Lisa and Shona's mum is pressuring them to live with
her and has bribed Lisa with a mobile phone. Lisa is mugged
by a mobile thief - Mr Robson gives chase but falls from a roof
and is badly injured. New boy Carl goes on a scavenger hunt. |

Lisa is taken to hospital with a broken arm. Shona
bunks off with Maddie and gets drunk. Mr Robson has a broken
leg; Mr Deverill is put out when Mrs Holmes becomes acting head.
Anika gets the editor's job - Martin is persuaded to join the
web team as technical support. Danny worries about how to tell
Vikki he hasn't applied for university. Mr West decides Shona
would be better off with her mum. |

Maddie is upset when she discovers Shona has left. Later she
takes to the booze. Josh is smitten with Briony and joins the
step aerobics class. Cracker tries calling for Lisa but gets
no answer. Later Lisa is terrified when she hears the front
door - but it's only her dad coming home. Work starts on the
web site. Amy searches for her dad who was in an 80s band. The
staff have a drink to welcome Mr Deverill. Dai Hard plays with
the web site and loses all the work! |

Reassuring words from Leah presuade him to return. Vikki dumps
Danny after he confesses to not applying for university. She's
angry that he told carl before her. Maddie spreads the word
about Matt's illness; devastated, he breaks down and pours his
heart out to Briony. Darren and Calvin decide to set up a Desteeni
card business in an attempt to meet girls. Josh and Martin go
to Vikki's step aerobics class; Josh falls in love with Briony! |

Maddie reads Martin's notebook aloud in class - he has a crush
on Leah but doesn't realise this. The sixth form drive to the
university; Nathan is surprised when they turn up. Vikki is
dreading her interview. Upset over Danny, she gets drunk. Mrs
Gilks collects Maddie from school; Josh and Kathy are amused
to discover her full name is Madonna! Unknown to Briony, Nathan
is cheating on her with his "landlady" Shirley. |

Vikki is shocked to discover her interviewer is the guy who
saw her drunk last night. catches Nathan in a clinch with Shirley,
who then spills the beans. Briony is devastated and wants nothing
more to do with Nathan. Maddie invites Kathy for tea but she
refuses. Later Josh puts a kipper in her school bag and Kathy
reduces Maddie to tears. Maddie drinks again when mum isn't
home. Michael is sent to Grange Hill as a supply teacher. Darren
and Calvin's card business is booming; Mr Deverill thinks they
are dealing drugs! Anika finds a sensitive article for the web
site; there's bad news about Mrs Davenport. |

Anika begs her mum to tell Amy about Harriet. Amy suspects something
is up. It's launch day for the web site. The staff see Leah's
article and Deverill orders Anika to remove it. Eventually the
press get wind of it and Tom keeps a low profile. Maddie is
furious to find Chris stayed the night. Mrs Holmes is concerned
about Deverill's discipline scheme; Peter backs the proposals
Shannon grasses up Darren and Calvin for their Desteeni scam
- Deverill thinks they're drug-dealing and excludes them both!
Amy goes to the hospital and overhears her mother has cancer. |

Deverill finds the web page attacking Mrs Holmes; before long,
copies spring up across the school. Mrs Holmes shuts the site
down, Deverill overturns the decision but orders Martin and
Kathy to find out who wrote the Holmes article. Amy confronts
Anika for not telling her about Harriet's illness. Deverill
catches Ian picking up a spray can and assumes he's responsible
for the graffiti. Cracker overhears Miss Fraser being negative
about him. Harriet promises Amy there'll be no more secrets.
The sixth formers attend The Hub's opening night but Vikki is
furious to meet up again with Ozzie. Deverill browbeats Mrs
Holmes into OK-ing his discipline scheme. Michael warns Margaret
he'll marry Emily with or without her approval. |

The positive discipline scheme is implemented. Miss Fraser announces
the wedding date; Mrs Holmes is not happy. Martin feels guilty
about having to uncover the author of the Mrs Holmes article
- Deverill loses patience and reveals Anika as the culprit.
She protests her innocence. Ian asks Dai Hard to peak up for
him - Deverill retaliates by calling in Mr Hudson. Tom gives
Leah advice to boost her confidence. Tom and Matt try to get
Lisa to come out with them - but her fear is too overwhelming. |

she rejects it. Anika is sacked as web site editor - Leah refuses
to take over and comes clean. Deverill sends them both to the
Pupil Reflection Facility. The sixth formers have a meal at
a posh restaurant - Danny storms out when he realises Ozzie
was involved. Ray visits Lisa and tries persuading her to get
on with life. Josh receives an e-mail of a swastika and worries
about his bar mitzvah. Maddie and Tina get drunk - a passer-by
panics when she sees them on a roof. |

Deverill carries out uniform inspection. Miss Fraser and Margaret
argue over Michael in full view of the pupils! Leah and Shannon
fight in Michael's lesson. Ian is also sent out; Deverill orders

- Tom is delighted when she turns up at The Hub. Ozzie tries
to woo Vikki with champagne; Danny complains she's neglecting
him. Martin spots Tina and Maddie drinking - Maddie warns him
to attend Saturday detention or else. |

Josh doesn't want to go through with his Bar Mitzvah - he's
tells his parents about the prejudice. Kathy persuades him to
stand up for himself and it's back on. Maddie falls ill at school;
the gang take her to the toilets and Ian runs amok to distract
Deverill. He pins Ian to the wall and bans him from the football
team. Amy takes her mum to a record fair. She's delighted to
meet her old friend Charlie; Amy thinks he is her father but
he isn't. Shannon and Maddie pours their hearts out. At The
Hub, Briony ignores Matt and Vikki feels guilty after accepting
a watch from Ozzie. |

Mr Robson summons the staff to his house and announces he's
resigned. Deverill is secretly delighted! Maddie throws her
party invites away; Martin finds them. Maddie invites Tina and
Louise to her party; they trash the house, get her drunk and
humiliate her. Martin persuades Josh and Kathy to go to the
party; when they get there, Maddie is unconscious on the sofa.
Ian apologises to Deverill and he's back on the football team.
Mrs Davenport is released from hospital and tells Amy she's
only got weeks left. |

Deverill bans Ian from the football match, and makes him pick
up litter instead. Mr Robson asks Miss Carver to go travelling
with him; she's embarrassed. The doctor lectures Maddie - she
tells her mum to be around more. Ozzie returns Vikki's mobile
phone and she thanks him with a kiss. Tom tells Lisa he's got
a modelling job. Ian dumps the litter outside Deverill's office
and sprays "Deverill is a Nazi" on the school wall.
Stephen sends him to the PRF - in a heated exchange, Deverill
hits him and warns him he can forget about the Army place if
he squeals. |

Amy's mum is getting weaker; Amy plans a special day for her
and invites her classmates for a meal. The staff have a barbecue
- Deverill lords it up while Dai Hard tries to chat up Emily's
friends. Ian's dad laughs when Ian tells him about Deverill
hitting him. Harriet is impressed with Spencer's cooking - the
gang leave allowing Amy and Chaz to spend their final moments
with Harriet. Lisa goes to Tom's modelling shoot and sees him
in a new light. Lisa is embarrassed when her dad takes a shine
to Zoe - Tom's boss. Harriet slips away peacefully. |

Mr Robson returns to Grange Hill - much to Deverill's annoyance.
He catches Maddie drinking and offers a sympathetic ear. Chaz
and Amy attend Harriet's funeral. Ben and Max return to Congreve
Hall and Rob tells them Deverill is really Mr Wilcox. Wilcox
was sacked for roughing Rob up and assumed the name of a colleague
- the real Mr Deverill - to get the job at Grange Hill. Briony
is being sick and Matt thinks he's got her pregnant. Vikki dumps
Danny - he's furious and floors Ozzie - Vikki is hurt when it
emerges Ozzie pulled her for a bet. |

Ozzie tries in vain to win back Vikki. Deverill attends his
interview for the head's job - and gets it. Mr Robson rescinds
Ian's army reference - Ian is devastated and is about to jump
off the school roof. Dai Hard talks him down. Mr Robson urges
Suzie to be more of a mum to Maddie - Maddie takes back the
shoes Tina stole. Lisa fancied Tom but was upset he only saw
her as a friend. Chris plots to use Cracker to make a delivery
of counterfeit money. Ben and Max vow to bring down Deverill. |

Mr Robson and Miss Carver marry. Carl organises a surprise
wedding reception for the newlyweds. The web team plan their
move against Deverill - Ian confronts him. The lads get to the
computer room in time to stop him whacking Kathy. Vikki finds
a stash of food in Briony's bag - she breaks down; Matt vows
to help her. Deverill laughs off the accusations but drops his
guard when Rob confronts him. Mr Robson locks him in the PRF
- he escapes (using his own key), goes to the staffroom and
burns the incriminating evidence. Deverill is disturbed and
escapes - the staffroom goes up in flames. Tom and Lisa kiss.
The fire spreads and an explosion takes out the school. |
