Builders cause chaos all over the school. Mr Hankin brings a
tarantula into his lab and all the school want to see it. Later
the spider escapes. Spencer's dad gets two years in prison for
his attack on Mr Daniels. A fire breaks out in the school -
Ozzie is overcome by smoke after staying behind to steal valuables.
Danny upsets Mr Hankin by parking in his space, Kelly visits
Evelyn and her baby. |

EPISODE 2 (445)
Robson and Hankin spend the night locating the tarantula. Its
angry owner takes it away, disappointing the pupils waiting
to see it. Spencer tells his classmates about his dad - Calvin
is shocked. Danny destroys Ozzie's cigarettes in the science
lab. Mr Hankin confiscates Ozzie's ghetto blaster containing
more cigarettes. Ozzie steals a set of school keys and recovers
it - then enters the staffroom. |

The rows between Lisa's parents get worse. Lisa and Shona return
from school to find their mum has left for another man. Ozzie
confronts Danny over the remote control - he later clashes with
Frankie. Amy and Anika design a new school uniform; Calvin and
Darren plant a spider in Mr Robson's car - everyone watches
as he beats it with a squash racquet! The sixth formers form
a band. |

Calvin forgives Spencer but Clare confronts him. Nathan leaps
to his defence. Mr Robson rejects Anika's uniform idea - then
a sponsor is found for the project. Tom and Leah fancy each
other. Miss Carver sees Mrs Holmes meet a young man at the gates;
Ozzie fears Mr Hankin will ruin his cigarette business. Wayne
and Arnie meet Colin at a showbiz party, but walk out when he
ignores them. |

Amy and Anika mount a petition for a uniform competition. Mr
Hankin gives an anti-smoking lecture. Briony and Nathan attend
a council meeting about a young refugee. A pair of racists goad
them - he punches them and they are chased from the building.
Shannon tells Leah she is going out with Danny. Year 7 go on
a spider-hunt. Josh feigns injury to gain attention from Vikki.
Tom asks Leah out - she accepts. Spencer suggests a uniform
competition. Kelly joins a comedy workshop. |

Claire is disgusted to learn the refugee will be deported. Arnie
and Nathan go on a double date with Claire and Vikki. Ozzie
puts up posters telling everyone about Mr Hankin's criminal
past. He blames Danny. Leah lets slip that Danny is dating Shannon.
Tracy and Tom spot Mrs Holmes with a young man in town. Mr Robson
is forced into holding a uniform competition. Claire and Arnie
share a passionate embrace - then she runs off. |

Martin realises the workmen have got the dimensions wrong for
the wheelchair ramp. Arnie fears Claire ran off because of his
epilepsy. Ozzie empties a tank of spiders in Mr Hankin's lab.
Dai Hard is late for gym club - Ozzie lets them in with his
keys. Shannon tells everyone she slept with Danny. Mr Robson
gets talked into another sponsorship to replace the school music
equipment. Mrs Holmes asks the staff to the pub - she reveals
the mystery man is Michael, her son. Mr Hankin finds a note
on his car - "Watch Your Back". |

The staff vow to support Mrs Holmes. Wayne wins a tenner on
the lottery. Tracy is alarmed that Tom wants to bed Leah. Colin
arrives for a meeting with Mr Robson. Kelly leaves the comedy
workshop party when Maria reveals she is homosexual. Mrs West
calls round and she starts bickering with Don. Shona runs out
- Dave rescues her from being run over. Shona winds up Martin
by pretending to be bitten by a tarantula. Martin panics. Shona
passes out in class. |

Frankie finds a footprint - initialed D.H. - in his cementing.
Mr Hankin blames Danny; the print turns out to be Frankie's.
Darren's dad behaves more oddly andpacks him off to Spencer's
for the night. Shona has German measles. Colin returns to the
sixth form. Josh tells Clare that Danny is seeing Shannon; Vikki
is upset. Lisa plans a party and Tom invites Leah. Martin throws
his chips in the canteen. Ozzie takes a pop at Danny's dad -
Danny punches him. |

Lisa throws a party - Ben and Max try to pull her and Tracy.
Don is furious when he finds Tom and Leah in Lisa's room. Shannon
tearfully reveals Danny dumped her after getting what he wanted.
At Emily's party, the male teachers fix her stereo. Michael
and Miss Fraser share an intimate dance. At the anti-racism
night, Clare sabotages the racists' van. Mr Hankin returns home
to find someone has broken in - and deposited cigarette packets.
Darren finds a strange girl emerging from the attic. |

Lisa is hung over. The girl at Darren's is Amelia - a refugee
Mr Clarke is shielding from deportation. Mr Hankin tells the
police Danny broke in. Mrs West calls round but refuses to see
Shona. Promoters for 19 Down hand out leaflets at the school
gates. The police question Danny's classmates; Vikki tells them
he's seeing Shannon. The sixth form ask Colin to manage the
band. Danny is stunned when police accuse him of unlawful sex
- Mr Robson suspends him. |

Leah and Tom make love at Lisa's party; the next Day Leah is
withdrawn and avoids Tom. Danny defies his exclusion but Vikki
refuses to speak to him. Billy gets Miss Fraser to jump out
of a giant birthday cake for Frankie's birthday. Shannon is
shocked Danny could go to prison. Maddie gets Martin to send
Kathy an e-mail from her favourite 19 Down member. The band
find their equipment trashed. Alex shocks Kelly by revealing
she is a lesbian. |

Danny persuades Vikki to help clear his name. She befriends
Shannon and gets her to come clean in The Arches. A furious
Danny confronts Shannon and makes her confess to the police.
Year 7 send Kathy to Coventry over her e-mail to 19 Down. Year
9 smuggle Amelia into school. Leah confesses all to Shannon
- gossip spreads. When she discovers Shannon lied about Danny,
she withdraws her friendship. Michael showers Emily's car with
roses. The police call at Darren's looking for leads on Amelia's
disappearance. |

Mr Hankin's test results are negative. Leah still won't talk
to Tom. Forbes is furious about Mr Hankin's testicular cancer
lecture. Ozzie gets the lads to act up in the lecture. Max wins
the uniform competition. Danny returns to school. Mrs West calls
round and stuns Lisa by revealing she's pregnant - by Dave.
Mr Robson's attempt to reconcile Danny and Mr Hankin fails.
Briony's brother rescues her and Nathan from Jez and Kev. Ozzie
fills Mr Hankin's house with laughing bags. |

Mr Hankin pins Danny to the wall, thinking he planted the laughing
bags. Tracy wins the talent contest with her guitar piece -
Lisa and the lads are second. Shannon accuses Tom of raping
Leah in front of his mates. Wayne, Arnie and Colin try to hide
from Tarquin, but Mr Robson blows their cover. Roz panics when
the police visit - to warn her about faulty tyres. Kelly panics
when Alex arrives at The Arches. Ozzie daubs Mr Hankin's car
with graffiti. Amelia announces she's running away; Darren goes
with her. |

Roz and Alan are frantic when they discover Darren has gone.
They ask Year 9 where could they be. Josh overhears Vikki and
Kelly talking about lesbians. Tracy doubts Tom's innocence;
she and Lisa come to blows. Mrs Holmes admits jealousy over
Michael and Miss Fraser. Forbes stifles Max's protest to the
press over the uniform. Ben is less than pleased when Kathy
suggests there may be something wrong with Martin. Wayne reveals
he won £12,000 on the lottery - Arnie demands his share.
Kelly wows everyone with her stand-up routine, and Claire sings
a poignant song. Matt tells Mr Hankin he's found a lump. |

Mr Hankin warns Mr Robson to exclude Danny. When he refuses,
Mr Hankin resigns. Matt tells Mr Hankin he's due to go into
hospital; he also tries to tell a disinterested Tom. Kathy suggests
to Martin he might have Asperger's syndrome. They take the idea
to Miss Carver. Mr Robson questions Year 9 about Darren's disapperance.
It turns out he and Amelia are in the school basement. Josh
tells Maddie that Kelly and Vikki are lesbians - she daubs graffiti
to that effect in the toilets. Year 10 protest against the uniform
branding. |

Mr Miller reacts angrily when Miss Carver suggests Martin has
Asperger Syndrome. The staff are shocked by Mr Hankin's resignation;
Mrs Holmes and Miss Carver can't persuade Danny to come clean.
Mr Hankin sees Danny follow Ozzie into the basement. Danny warns
Ozzie to tell all - or else; Mr Hankin storms in to confront
Ozzie - the ceiling collapses on all three. |

Danny lies injured under the rubble; there are angry exchanges
between Ozzie and Mr Hankin. Darren and Amelia are kidnapped
- Amelia is reunited with her father and learns she is free
to go home. Year 10 discover collusion between Forbes and 19
Down and Martin finds some incriminating info on the Web. Matt
tells Tom and Cracker about his illness. Danny and Mr Hankin
are rescued. |

Ozzie offers Mr Robson the tape of Forbes in exchange for no
police action, but he's arrested anyway. Forbes is also carted
off by the police. Mr Robson supports renewed uniform protests
in the playground. The racists are arrested. The sixth form
band wows the audience at the talent show. Tom and Leah finally
talk. Matt is in hospital awaiting surgery. The racists trash
The Arches leaving Ray unconscious. |
